OUR KIWANIS FAMILY
OUR KIWANIS FAMILY

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The organization hopes to make a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that provide the support they need to thrive. To reach more people and have a greater service impact on their communities, many clubs sponsor a Kiwanis family club — K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens; Circle K clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities.
Mission Viejo Kiwanis
The Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo has sponsored Tesoro Key Club since 2003. Members of Mission Viejo Kiwanis are kind-hearted adults dedicated to helping the community and are always willing to help Tesoro Key Club. They typically meet at 7:00 AM every Tuesday at Denny's off of Alicia, however this has changed due to COVID19.

Our Advisors

Every Key Club has a Kiwanis advisor. A Kiwanis advisor supports Key Club members and the faculty advisor in all their endeavors and also serves as the liaison between the sponsoring Kiwanis club, the Key club’s faculty advisor, and school administrators. The role of the Kiwanis advisor is important to the sponsoring Kiwanis club but also to the total operation of the Key Club!
